Usage calculator
Turn a period of consumption into a rate you can act on — per use, per day, and how many days of stock you actually have left.
Formula
Usage per Use = Total Consumed ÷ Number of Uses
Days of Stock = Current Stock ÷ Daily Consumption
Days of Stock = Current Stock ÷ Daily Consumption

Usage rate is most useful when you track it consistently period over period — a sudden jump in millilitres per use is often the first sign of a dosing problem, a different user behaviour, or a product change worth investigating before it shows up as a cost overrun.
Frequently asked questions
What is a usage rate?
How much product is consumed per application, per unit treated, or per day — calculated by dividing total consumption over a period by the number of uses or days.
How do I calculate days of stock remaining?
Divide current stock on hand by average daily consumption. 150ml a day with 4.5 litres in stock is 30 days of stock remaining at the current rate.
Why track usage rate instead of reordering when stock runs low?
It lets you predict a stockout before it happens and time reorders around lead times, and it surfaces sudden spikes in consumption worth investigating.
Is this usage calculator free to use?
Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, needs no account, and nothing you enter is stored or transmitted.
